Uh oh! Seems like someone has landed herself in yet another trouble! Why do we say, so you ask? A Kolkata-based company has filed a police complaint against Bollywood diva Shilpa Shetty Kundra alleging that it was fraudulently induced to invest Rs. 9 crores in a company run by her. Eek!
Police have initiated a case against Ripu Sudan Kundra of Essential Sports and Media Private Limited and the actress, following the complaint by Debashish Guha, M.K. Media Private Limited’s additional director.
More digging revealed that Mrs. Kundra and others allegedly induced the complainant company to invest a sum of Rs. 9 crore with the promise of 10 times return against the invested amount within two years.
Police have slapped sections 406, 120B, 420, 418, 389, 388 and 506 of IPC in the case. The Kolkata based film had earlier filed a suit with Calcutta High Court. Tch Tch!
